Understanding the concern

Brow Design That Accounts for Skin and Healing

Microblading deposits pigment into superficial skin using fine manual strokes. The goal is a balanced brow appearance, not an identical or permanent result.

Pigment retention and colour change vary with skin type, sun exposure, aftercare, lifestyle and individual healing. A touch-up can be advised after the initial healing period.

Every plan begins with suitability, informed expectations and room for questions.
How planning works

Consult. Design. Heal.

Approval of the mapped shape and colour comes before pigment is placed.

1

Suitability Review

Discuss skin conditions, allergies, medicines, prior cosmetic tattooing and expectations.

2

Brow Mapping

Plan proportion, symmetry and pigment tone, then review the design together.

3

Procedure & Aftercare

Place fine strokes using hygiene protocols and provide clear healing instructions.

Consultation-led options

Reasons People Consider Microblading

The technique and expected retention depend on natural hair, skin and the desired level of definition.

01

Sparse Brows

Fine strokes can be planned to visually support areas with less natural hair.

02

Uneven Shape

Mapping can improve visual balance while respecting natural facial features.

03

Gaps in the Brow

Targeted strokes can be considered where appropriate.

04

Daily Makeup Effort

Semi-permanent definition can reduce, but not always eliminate, brow makeup.

05

Faded Previous Work

Existing pigment must be assessed before any correction or new procedure.

06

Natural Definition

Stroke direction and colour are selected to avoid a uniform stamped appearance.

Before and after

What to Expect from Your Appointment

Preparation, recovery and follow-up are explained before you decide to proceed.

Important: Microblading breaks the skin and carries risks including infection, allergy, pigment change and scarring. Active skin disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding, blood-thinning medication, uncontrolled health conditions and a history of keloids must be discussed before proceeding.

STEP 1

Before

Avoid unapproved brow treatments and disclose medicines, allergies and previous pigment.

STEP 2

Design

The proposed outline and colour are reviewed before the procedure starts.

STEP 3

Healing

Temporary darkness, tenderness, flaking or uneven-looking healing can occur.

STEP 4

Touch-Up

A review after healing determines whether refinement is appropriate.

Common questions

Questions Before You Book

Your consultation is the right place to discuss suitability, alternatives, recovery and expected response.

Is microblading permanent?

It is generally described as semi-permanent. Pigment fades and changes over time, and longevity varies by person.

Will both brows look identical?

Brows are mapped for visual balance, but natural facial features are not perfectly symmetrical.

How long does healing take?

Surface healing usually progresses over several weeks. Colour and definition change during that period.

Is a touch-up always required?

A review can determine whether refinement is useful, but timing and need vary with healing and pigment retention.

Can old brow tattooing be covered?

Existing pigment, colour and depth must be assessed first; correction or removal can be more appropriate than direct cover-up.
